Brief Information: Assam Mineral Liquids Prevention and Traders Rules, 2020 under the Mines and Mineral Substances 1957 Act. (Development and Regulation).

Online Portal launched throught Ease of Doing Business(EoDB) Service.

Who Will Register?

Those who buy,sell,store,supply,transport or distribute Minerals and Mineral Substances(Coal and Limstone)for business and also:

• Who buy and process Minerals and Mineral Substances to sell outside the lease area.
• Consumers of 500 MT(metric tonne) or more of mineral substances per annum for commercial purposes(Tea plantations, coke mines, brick mines)

Perposes of this Statute

To regulate the use, storage, processing, transportation and over use of minerals and mineral substances in all areas within the geographical boundaries of Assam and to prevent revenue evasion, illegal mining and smuggling.

How To Apply?

1. Login to EoDB Assam Portal – eodb.assam.gov.in
2. Go to Services.
3. Click on online services.
4. Registration on EoDB Portal
5. Apply for Common Application Form(CAF) and get Unique Business Identification Number(UBIN).
6. Apply for a mineral dealer license (new or renewed) using the same UBIN number.
