Brief Information: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan(KVS) an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, Government of India has released two recruitment notifications to recruit 13404 Teacher & Non-Teaching vacancies. KVS invites applications from Indian Citizens for filling up the posts of  TGT, PGT, PRT, Principal, Vice Principal, Music Teacher, Librarian, Junior Secretarial Assistant, and other posts in various Kendriya Vidyalayas across the country. 1. Assistant Commissioner

No of posts: 52    

Age Limit: 50 years

Educational Qualification: 

1. i) Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 45% marks in aggregate. 
2. ii) B.Ed or equivalent teaching degree.
3. Principal   

No of posts: 239   

Age Limit: 50 years

Educational Qualification: 

1. i) Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 45% marks in aggregate
2. ii) B.Ed or equivalent teaching degree.
3. Vice Principal

No of posts: 203   

Age Limit: 45 years

Educational Qualification: 

1. i) Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

(ii) B.Ed or equivalent teaching degree.

4. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)

No of posts: 1409   

Age Limit: 40 years

Educational Qualification: 

# Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks.

# B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized university.

# Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English media.

5. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)   

No of posts: 3176   

Age Limit: 35 years

Educational Qualification:

# Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks.

# B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized university.

# Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English media.

6. Primary Teacher (PRT)   

No of posts: 6414

Age Limit: 30 years

Educational Qualification: 

# Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education Or

Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) Or

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education

# Qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by the Govt. of India.

# Proficiency to teach through Hindi & English media.

7. PRT (Music)   

No of posts: 303   

Age Limit: 30 years

Educational Qualification: 

# Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and Bachelor Degree in Music or equivalent from a recognized University.

# Competence to teach through English/Hindi medium. Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.

8. Librarian  

No of posts: 355  

Age Limit:

Educational Qualification: 

1. i) Bachelor's degree in Library Science OR Graduate with one-year diploma in Library Science from a recognized institution.
   ii) Working knowledge of Hindi and English.
2. Finance Officer   

No of posts: 6   

Age Limit: 35 years

Educational Qualification: 

1. i) B.Com with 50% marks in the aggregate and at least 4 years post qualification experience in Audit and Accounts works. OR M.Com with 50% marks and at least 3 years post qualification experience in Audit and Accounts works. ORCA (Inter) or ICWA (Inter) or MBA (Finance) or PGDM (Finance) (2 years full-time or 3 years part-time) with 2 years post qualification experience in Audit and Accounts works.
   ii) Knowledge of Computer Applications.
2. Assistant Engineer (Civil)   

No of posts: 2

Age Limit: 35 years

Educational Qualification: 

1. i) Graduate in Civil Engineering from a recognized University.
   ii) 2 years experience in design and engineering in the concerned branch
   OR
   3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute and 5 years experience in the concerned branch.
2. Assistant Section Officer (ASO)   

No of posts: 156

Age Limit: 35 years

Educational Qualification: Graduate with 3 years of experience as an LDC.

12. Senior Secretariat Assistant (UDC)   

No of posts: 322

Age Limit: 30 years

Educational Qualification: Graduate.

13. Junior Secretariat Assistant (LDC)   

No of posts: 702   

Age Limit: 27 years

Educational Qualification: 12th pass.

14. Hindi Translator   

No of posts: 11   

Age Limit: 35 years

Educational Qualification: 

Master's degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.

OR

Master's degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level

OR

Master's degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of an examination at the degree level;

OR

Master's degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of an examination at the degree level;

OR

Master's Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level;

AND

Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice-versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government office, including Government of India Undertaking.

15. Stenographer Grade-II   

No of posts: 54    

Age Limit: 27 years

Educational Qualification: 

1. i) 12th pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
   ii) Skill test Norms
