Eligibility Criteria for SSC Constable GD Recruitment:
Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India. Vacancies are state/UT wise, so candidates must provide domicile/PRC for their respective state/UT.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18-23 years old as of 01.08.2023. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02-08-2000 or later than 01-08-2005.
Age Relaxation: Permissible relaxation in upper age limit for different categories are as follows:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/University.
Application Fee:
Candidates must pay an application fee depending on their category. The fee details are as follows:

SSC Constable GD Vacancy Selection Process
The selection process of SSC Constable GD will consist of the following stages:
a) Computer Based Examination (CBE)
b) Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
c) Physical Standard Test (PST)
d) Medical Examination (DME/ RME) and
e) Document Verification
