Brief Information: The State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam has issued two recruitment notifications for the recruitment of 2741 posts of Class I, Forest Guard, AFPF Constable, Driver Constable, Driver and Grade IV cadre under the Forest Department. of Assam. Educational Qualifications:

- # Pump Operator: HSLC or equivalent and Commercial Certificate/ License.
- # Electrician: HSLC or equivalent with trade certificate.
- # Plumber: HSLC or equivalent with trade certificate.
- # Peon: Passed Class VIII.
- # Postal Runner: Passed Class VIII.
- # Juggle: Passed Class VIII.
Other criteria for forest recruitment
Nationality: Candidates should be citizens of India, permanent residents of Assam. Selected candidates are required to submit residence proof /domicile certificate after publication of final select list. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC/MOBC are exempted from submitting such certificates.
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates are required to register with the local employment exchange in Assam.
Local Language Proficiency: Candidates should be fluent in Assamese or any other state language.
Age limit:
(I) Forester Grade I, Forest Guard and Driver: Candidates should be between 18 to 40 years of age as of 01-01-2023 (i.e. Candidates born on or before 01.01.2005 and 01.01.1983 or then must be).
(II) AFPF Constable and Driver Constable: Candidates should be between 18 to 25 years of age as of 01-01-2023 (i.e. Candidates born on or before 01.01.2005 and on or after 01.01.1998 must be).
(III) Category IV: Candidates should be between 18 to 40 years of age as of 01-01-2023 (i.e. Candidates born on or before 01.01.2005 and on or after 01.01.1983 required).
Age Relaxation: Class-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.

# OBC/ MOBC: 3 years

Must meet physical standard requirements in terms of height and chest.
