Name of post: Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP)

Number of posts under RRB Guwahati: 62
Pay scale: Level 02 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix with initial pay of Rs 19900/- plus other admissible allowances.
Eligibility Criteria of RRB ALP Recruitment
Age Limit: Candidates' age must be between 18 to 30 years as of 1st July 2024.
Age Relaxation: The relaxation of the upper age limit for reserved categories is as follows:

OBC-NCL 3 years
SC/ST 5 years
Educational Qualification:
A) Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Millwright Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic Radio & TV, Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature and Coil Winder, Mechanic Diesel, Heat Engine, Turner, Machinist, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Mechanic. OR
Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above. OR
B) 3 years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile Engineering. OR
Combination of various streams of these Engineering disciplines from a recognized Institution in lieu of ITI. OR
Note: Degree in the Engineering disciplines as above will also be acceptable in lieu of Diploma in Engineering.
RRB ALP Physical and Medical Standard Requirement
Physical and Medical Standard of the candidates for RRB Assistant Loco Pilot posts must be as mentioned below.

Vision Standard
Distant Vision: 6/6, 6/6 without glasses with fogging test (must not accept +2D)
Near Vision: Sn: 0.6. 0.6 Without glasses
Must pass test for Color Vision, Binocular Vision, Field of Vision, Night Vision, Mesopic Vision, etc.
