Salary Scale: Pay Band of Rs. 14,000/- to 49,000/- with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6,200/- along with other applicable allowances.
Eligibility Criteria for Assam Veterinary Recruitment
Candidates must be between 21 to 40 years old as of 1st January 2023. Age relaxations for different categories are as follows: SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years. Educational qualifications require passing HSSLC (Science) with Biology as a subject and completing a one-year certificate course in elementary knowledge of Veterinary Science from the recognized "School of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry" established by the Govt. of Assam at Ghungoor, Silchar. A candidate for direct recruitment to the cadre of VFA must be of sound health both mentally and physically, free from any organic defects or body infirmity likely to interfere with efficient performance of duties, and is required to undergo a medical examination before appointment to the service.
To apply for Assam Veterinary Recruitment, interested candidates should fill out the standard form as per part IX of the Assam Gazette. They should also include testimonials and a self-addressed envelope with a Rs. 5.00 stamp for communication. The completed application should be sent to the Director, A.H. & Vety. Department, Assam, Chenikuthi, Guwahati-781003, either by physically submitting it in the Drop Box at the Directorate or by Registered Post.
Applicants must affix 1 (One) copy of a recent photograph on the space provided in the application form firmly with good quality glue/adhesive and enclose another copy along with the application. The photograph must be signed by the candidate prominently. The Directorate of A.H. & Veterinary shall not be responsible for any detachment or loss of the photograph.
As the practice of furnishing attested copies of certificates/mark sheets by competent authority has been discontinued by the Govt., the applicant shall furnish copies of certificate/mark sheet declared by themselves as a true copy of the original along with the application.
