Details of DEE LP UP Teacher Recruitment
The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam has a total of 5550 posts for Assistant Teachers, with 3800 posts for Lower Primary and 1750 posts for Upper Primary. The pay scale for these positions is PB-2 of Rs.14,000 – Rs.70,000 plus Grade Pay and other applicable allowances.

Eligibility Criteria for DEE LP UP Teacher Recruitment
Nationality: Candidates must be Permanent Residents of Assam.
Other Criteria for TET Assam Recruitment
TET Eligibility: Candidates who have passed the ATET/CTET for Upper Primary School are eligible to apply. The Language-I or Language-II of both ATET and CTET candidates must match the medium of instruction of the school where the candidate wishes to apply.
Nationality: An Indian Citizen and Permanent Resident of Assam is eligible for this recruitment.

Small Family Norms: No person having more than two living children on or after 1st January 2021 from a single or multiple partners shall be eligible for appointment as per the Government policy on Small Family Norms.
Medium of Instruction: The language used by ATET and CTET candidates must match the language used for teaching in the school where the candidate wants to apply.
ATET/CTET Qualification: Candidates who have passed ATET/CTET for LP/UP will be eligible to apply for teaching positions.
Educational Qualification: The specific educational qualifications required for each teaching position are as follows:
Assistant Teacher (LP): Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Assistant Teacher (UP): Graduate from a UGC recognized University and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education).
Science Teacher (UP): B. Sc. from a UGC recognized University and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education).
Hindi Teacher (UP): Graduate with Hindi as one of the subjects from a UGC recognized University and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education).
