Brief Information:The Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) has recently issued the official notification for SSUHS BSc Nursing Admission for the academic year 2023. As per the notification, SSUHS will conduct a Common Entrance Examination (CEE) for admission into the 1st year B.Sc. Nursing courses under the Directorate of Medical Education, Assam. Candidates who are interested and eligible can apply online on the SSUHS official website from 27th April 2023 to 16th May 2023.

Eligibility Requirements for Admission to BSc Nursing at SSUHS

The admission requirements for the B.Sc. Nursing program are outlined below:

Education Requirements: Applicants must have successfully completed Higher Secondary (10+2) Science or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board/Council/University. English should be one of the subjects, and the candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for General Category candidates, and 40% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST(P)/ST(H) category without the inclusion of grace marks.

Age Requirement: Applicants must fall within the age range of 17 to 24 years as of December 31, 2023. There is a relaxation of 3 years in the upper age limit for candidates belonging to SC/ST category.

Nationality: Applicants must be citizens of India.

Residency: The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam.

Application Fee for SSUHS CEE

To complete the application process, a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) must be paid via the SBI payment gateway, which is accessible on both the online application page and the University website. However, candidates belonging to the PWD (Divyang) category are exempted from paying the examination fee.
