There are 360 available posts with a monthly salary of Rs. 9,000. The age range for applicants is between 30 to 65 years.

The Circle Officer in charge has a list of approved lots for five Revenue Circles, which interested candidates can obtain from their respective Circle Office. To apply, candidates must fill out the application form, attach self-attested copies of necessary documents, and provide two recent passport size photographs. These materials should be submitted during office hours at the concerned Circle Officer's office between April 19th, 2023 and May 6th, 2023. The applicant must meet the following qualifications:
Criteria for Eligibility
1. The applicant should be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of the area in respectof which he/ she seeks appointment
2. The applicant should be minimum 30 (thirty) years of age as on 01.01.2023
3. The applicant should be minimum 10th pass from a Board / Institution recognized by theState Government.
4. The applicant should be physically fit and of sound mind.
5. The applicant should not have been declared insolvent or defaulter in payment of Govt.dues. In this regard candidates should submit Bakijai Clearance Certificate, House TaxClearance Certificate & Land revenue payment receipt from the concerned authorities.
6. The applicant should not be a Government employee.
7. The applicant should have landed property / immovable property in his / her name in thearea in which he /she intends to be appointed as Gaon Pradhan.
8. The applicant should not be a member of any Political party.
9. The applicant should have a high status and command and have a respectable positionin the society.
10. The applicant should have worked / volunteered for advancement of the Governmentpolicies and programmes and rendered assistance in natural calamities.
11. The applicant should not have more than 02 (two) living children from a single or multipleparents provided that this provision should not be applicable in respect of those candidateswho have more than 02 (two) children prior to the date of coming into force of the Govt.Notification No. RLR.187/2007/Pt/24 Dated 19.07.2019 published in the Assam Gazetteon 02.08.2019, hence the effect of the Notification is 02.08.2019.
12. The applicant should furnish an affidavit at the time of submission of application declaringthat he / she has not more than 02 (two) living children from a single or multiple parents.
As part of the application process, the applicants must provide the following documents along with the application form:
1. The application should be submitted in the Standard Form as published in the AssamGazette in Part-IX in a sealed envelope addressed to the Deputy Commissioner, Goalparaand should be submitted in the RKG Branch, office of the Deputy Commissioner,Goalpara. Application should be sent either through post or to be delivered by hand in thedrop box kept for the purpose in the respective Revenue Circle Office, Goalpara. Postapplied for shall be superscripted on the sealed envelope.
2. The applicants must submit self attested copies of education qualification (minimumHSLC Mark sheet & Pass Certificate, HSLC Admit Card / Birth Certificate etc.) along withthe application form and 03 (three) copies of Self Attested Recent Coloured Passport SizePhotographs (one of which should be pasted on the Application Form.
3. The applicant shall furnish their Mobile Number, WhatsApp number and mail ID (if any)on the Application Form for smooth communication of information relating to the conductof examination.
4. The applicant must submit Bakijai Clearance Certificate.
5. The applicants must submit proof of documents of permanent resident in which he /shewants to apply for the post of Gaon Pradhan.
6. The applicant must submit proof of documents of landed property / immovable propertyin his / her name in the area in which he /she intends to be appointed as Gaon Pradhan.
7. The applicant must submit details of Family members (Name, Age, Date of Birth,relationship with the applicant etc.) in the form of affidavit. Photocopy of birth certificatesof the children needs to be enclosed.
8. The applicant must categorically mention the name of the Gaon Pradhan Lot in which he/ she intends to apply,
9. The applicant may submit proof of document reents/certificatesceive d, if any, regarding rendering service in social empowerment or assistance in natural calamities, etc.
10. Canvassing directly or indirectly will be liable for disqualification.
Incomplete /overwritten applications will be summarily rejected and no application will bereceived after 05:00 P.M. of 06.05.2023.
