The examination will be administered by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) in Assam. |

Testing facilities can be found at various locations, including State Government Engineering Colleges, State Polytechnics, as well as Tezpur and Mangaldai. |

Polytechnic Admission Test Eligibility Requirements
Residency
Requirement: Applicants must hold permanent citizenship in the state of Assam.
Minimum
Educational Requirements: The candidate must have successfully completed the
H.S.L.C. (High School Leaving Certificate) examination or its equivalent in a
single sitting, with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects.
Additionally, the candidate must have passed both the Theory and Practical
examinations in Mathematics and Science individually.

minimum average percentage required for Mathematics and Science is as follows:
