Brief Information:Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam has released the official notification of Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) 2022. Intending and eligible candidates may apply online here for admission into Diploma Courses in the following State Government Polytechnics of Assam and Polytechnics outside Assam (against seat allotted by the Govt. of India’ Assam Energy Institute, Sibsagar) for the session 2022–2023.

Name of test: Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) 2022
Academic session: 2022–2023
Test to be conducted by: Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam
Test centres: To be updated soon.
Date of test: 17th July 2022 (Sunday)

Time of test: 10 AM to 12 Noon (2 Hours)

Type of questions: Multiple choice questions (MCQs)

Eligibility Criteria of Polytechnic Admission Test

Resident-ship: Candidate/s must be a permanent citizen of Assam.

Educational Qualification: Candidate must pass the H.S.L.C. or its equivalent examination in single sitting with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects. Candidates also must have passed individually in both Theory and Practical examinations in Mathematics and Science. 

 

Required minimum average percentage in Mathematics and Science is as mentioned below.

Age Limit:

The category-wise maximum age limit as on 31st December 2022 is as given below.

Category	Age Limit
UR and OBC/ MOBC	20 Years 6 Months
SC/ST	23 years 6 months
For Institutions outside Assam	20 Years 6 Months

Application Fee of PAT

Application Fee: The application fee of PAT 2022 is Rs 500/- plus bank charges as applicable.

Payment Mode:

Online: Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking .
Offline: Through Cash Deposit form from State Bank Collect in final step of Online Application.

How to Apply for Polytechnic Admission Test?

Intending and eligible candidates who are permanent citizen of Assam may follow below mentioned steps to apply online for Polytechnic Admission Test for admission into Diploma Courses in the following State Government Polytechnics of Assam for the session 2022-2023.

Step 1: Go to Important Web-Links of Polytechnic Admission Test section .
Step 2: Click on Online Application link .
Step 3: Official PAT Application Portal will be opened.
Step 4: Register with all your personal credentials and pay the Application Fee.
Step 5: At the end, submit online application .
